Program Specifics

Qualified Buyers
Any organization or individual may buy SMART products for donation to schools using SMARTer Biz Kids. Qualified organizations include, but are not limited to, incorporated or unincorporated businesses, professional services firms and community service organizations.

Qualified Recipients
Any public or private educational institution involved in K-12, college, university, vocational and technical instruction or administration that has been approved for a SMARTer Kids Foundation Grant.

Eligible Products
SMART products include SMART Board, roll-about Floor Stand, SMART Expression, Rear Projection SMART Board and In-Wall Rear Projection SMART Board models. These products may change from time to time, so please check the Grant section of this Web site for a list of the current products.

Prerequisites
A recipient school must be approved for a SMARTer Kids Foundation Grant. The application process is simple. A Grant Application is available online in the Grant section of this Web site.

Donation Process
Once the SMARTer Kids Foundation Grant has been approved, the school notifies the organization or individual of the award. The organization or individual completes the SMARTer Biz Kids Donation Request to transfer the Grant and submits it to the Dealer. The SMART Dealer will apply the grant amount to the donor purchase order to reduce the net cash cost. The Dealer will coordinate delivery and assist with the installation of donated SMART products.

Limitations
There are no limitations on the number of SMART products that may be purchased for donation to any individual school, and donations may be made to multiple schools. However, products must ship directly to the school.

Geographical Boundaries
The program is only available within North America.

Participating Dealers
All Dealers Authorized to Process SMARTer Kids Grants are participating in SMARTer Biz Kids. A list of Dealers is available in the Grant section of this Web site.

Program Deadline
The deadline for this program is the same deadline to utilize the SMARTer Kids Foundation Grant. Purchase orders must be received by the deadline indicated on the SMARTer Kids Grant approval letter. Purchase orders may be submitted at any time prior to the deadline and they will be processed as received.

Grant Amounts and Pricing
Refer to the grant amounts and pricing listed on the SMARTer Kids Foundation Grant approval letter that the school received upon notification of the award. The Dealer may add taxes, shipping, installation or training costs as agreed with the customer.

Supporting Documentation Required
At the time of purchase, the SMARTer Biz Kids Donation Request must be completed and provided along with the donor’s purchase order to the Dealer. The SMARTer Kids Foundation and the Dealer will use information provided to transfer the grant to the donor thus reducing the net cash cost to the donor.

Other
This program may not be combined with any other program available through the SMARTer Kids Foundation or SMART Technologies Inc.
